Meet Shelee
Acrylic colour wasn’t always my medium of choice, but once I discovered it, I never looked back. Entirely self-taught since my early teens, I began with a healthy obsession for charcoal, creating black-and-white images that led to a few humble sales to a cafe and a local hair salon.
My inspiration comes from living on and loving the coast. I paint in the same colours I see around my small coastal town and its beaches. Discovering fluid art was a turning point, as its organic, free-flowing movement is mesmerising and calming. Each piece takes on a life of its own, often resembling the beautiful landscapes, islands, and coral of the Great Barrier Reef.
All my pieces eventually find their loving home, where they belong and were meant to be. I now teach the Bloom Technique worldwide, sharing my passion and skills with others.

Meet Niki
Niki D has been my nickname since a child. In 2018 a facebook friend posted a photo of her fluid art, after taking a class, I was transfixed. I spent around 6 months watching as many YouTube videos as possible before buying any supplies. The acrylic pouring addiction had begun!
In 2019 I took the Sheleeart E-Course, I’d been a fan and follower of Shelee’s from Facebook and Instagram. Then my artistic floodgates opened, I was amazed at how using Shelee’s recipe I could create such beautiful art. I began my own YouTube channel on 29th July, 2020. I have over 450 videos now on my channel and mind is still bursting with ideas.

We know the Sheleeart Bloom Fam stretches across the globe, and we understand that travelling to Australia is a big ask for many. We know there are a few of you ride-or-die Bloom-nuts who will, and we love you for that! However, there’s a reason why we’re called Down Under—we’re pretty much at the opposite end of the world! Given that Shelee has built her entire community online through the Bloom E-Course, it made perfect sense to offer a livestream option for this event. It means you won’t have to suffer from FOMO, and you might get an insight into our Aussie vibe.

Due to the nature of the bloom recipe varying from country to country, a supplies list for the livestream will not be provided. Experienced bloomers can have their paints mixed and ready to paint along if they wish. If you’re new to blooming, we recommend taking the Bloom Course beforehand, where you can join the Sheleeart group and find out which mixes are working in your country.
Livestream Ticket Information
You’ll get access to all areas on Saturday the 28th. Be a fly on the wall during the entire day, accessing all three fantastic classes from Shelee’s Bloom Class, Niki’s Ethereal Minimalistic Bloom Swipes, and Bree’s Alcohol Inks, as well as the Saturday night mingle party!
The livestream option will offer real-time footage of the stage as the teachers demonstrate their techniques and guide students through their lessons, including Blooming with Shelee, Minimalist Swipes with Niki D, and Alcohol Inks with Bree. There will be breaks between each class, and you’ll also have the opportunity to livestream the Saturday night mingle/party.
The livestream is available only for Day 1 of the event, as most classes on Day 2 are repeats. You’ll receive access instructions a few days before the event, and the video will be available to revisit at a time of your choosing, should you miss the livestream or simply want to rewatch the sessions.
Please note that while you’ll be able to watch the class demonstrations, the teachers won’t be offering feedback to livestream viewers. We have engaged a professional livestream camera team to ensure top-quality streaming, please make sure you have installed all the latest browser updates and have a reliable signal at your viewing location.
Plus, your livestream ticket includes both the live broadcast and recorded playback, so you can enjoy the content in the moment and at a later date at your leisure.
